The European Robotics Forum 2018 (ERF2018), the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, will be held in Tampere on 13-15 March 2018. 1000 European robotics top experts are expected to attend the conference.
This unique robotics event will offer 50 information-filled workshops with presentations by leading European experts from industry, business, and top-level academia, as well as relevant European policy makers.

We invite you to the General Assembly in Tampere on Monday, 12 March, afternoon, (the day before ERF2018 starts). According to the statutes, there will be an election of 8 (one third) Board members. Representatives of member organisations interested in presenting themselves as a candidate are asked to submit the required documents and information before 31 January 2018, 5 p.m. Brussels time.

The purpose of these workshops is to explore the opportunity to create a network of Robotics Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) in Healthcare and Agile Production. These workshops are aimed at all organisations that have an interest in contributing to a network of DIHs in Healthcare or Agile Production. This includes all stakeholders even though they may not become directly involved in a proposal to host or run a DIH the gathering of viewpoints is critical to the success of any DIH.
Ms Lucilla Sioli has been appointed as Director of Dir A from 15/12/2017. Ms. Sioli was so far Head of Unit of the Digital economy and Skills unit (DG CONNECT F.4).
Read the results of the public consultation seeking views on how to address the challenging ethical, economic, legal and social issues related to developments in the area of robotics and AI for civil use, as identified in the European Parliament's report on Civil Law Rules on Robotics, drawn up by the Committee on Legal Affairs (Rapporteur: MEP Mady Delvaux, S&D, Luxembourg).
euRobotics hosted the SPARC Brokerage Day 2017 on 6 December 2017 in Brussels and brought together more than 120 people from the robotics field, to get information about the EC call and to network with potential consortium partners.
Presentations and event summary
With the organisation of around 1000 robotics events in 36 countries, European Robotics Week 2017 #ERW2017 has once again broken all records.Titled “Robots Discovery”, the central event was hosted by the European Committee of the Regions on 20-23 November.
