Summer Robot Camp

Come and join us at for 2 days of robotics fun, hosted by our very own robotics engineering and High5Girls rolemodels. They will bring you through a journey of learning how to think like a robot, to see their possibilities and learn how the robots around you think and feel. This will all be based on real life scenarios and applications. Once you are happy you can think like a robot, we will apply that thinking to develop our very own Line Following robot, from physically assembling all the pieces together, writing code to tell it what to do, and having a bit of friendly competition with your new friends. Dubrovnik-neretva county Association of technical culture with City of Dubrovnik Association of technical culture, Informatics club Futura and Aeroclub Nimbus on Friday, May 13. at Rectors Palace in Ston from 16:00 will have Robotics & screenless coding workshop and drone workshops for kids. At the workshop, participants will first learn basics of robotics and see various types of robots. Then they will program Cubetto robots. After orotics and screenless coding, kids will learn how to control drones. European robotics week in Ston is organized by the Dubrovnik-neretva county Association of technical culture in cooperation with City of Dubrovnik Association of technical culture, Informatics club Futura and Aeroclub Nimbus within the Du STEM project, which is 85% co-financed from the European Social Fund and 15% from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia. |

Nuestro proyecto, basado en el pensamiento computacional y la robótica, consistirá en presentar (por parte de nuestro alumnado) diferentes máquinas (brazo robótico), robots, instrumentos musicales electrónicos, (...) que servirán como incentivo para el desarrollo y fomento de la ciencia en el aula de Primaria. Los visitantes al evento podrán manipularlos y conocer cómo funcionan; además, estas explicaciones supondrán una forma comprender una serie de elementos y fenómenos naturales: la corriente eléctrica, los materiales conductores, el magnetismo, la polarización, el sonido, la vibración, etc. Y, por último, participarán en el diseño/programación de nuevos modelos y prototipos. |
