Artificial Intelligence for Manufacturing Workshop
Show details
EFFRA, the European Commission, the Big Data Value association and euRobotics are co-organizing a workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Manufacturing.
Date and time: 2 July, 2019, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Venue: BluePoint Brussels, Boulevard Auguste Reyers 80, 1030 Brussels

The aim of the workshop is to provide an insight into:
- How research and innovation projects and European or International Initiatives are already addressing Artificial Intelligence for manufacturing
- Artificial Intelligence- needs & requirements from the point of view of manufacturers
- The state of the art, i.e. how today’s solutions address the current needs and what will be the future requirements in better integrating artificial intelligence in existing systems.

During coffee breaks, participants will have the possibility to network and also to possibly talk about the planned Factories of the Future 2020 call on artificial intelligence for manufacturing which will open later this year.

Joining forces to boost AI adoption in Europe
Show details
The European robotics association (euRobotics) and the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) are publishing an initial version of a joint Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for an AI PPP in Europe on the 6th June in Brussels. This is in response to the Commission Communication on AI published in December 2018 and follows the publication of the joint Vision Paper in March 2019.
Europe has a strong and growing economy in the areas of robotics and data driven AI. Integrated value chains together with a combination of key enabling technologies has the power to transform the economy as well as society. No single initiative, no single country, no single company, or market segment can address this vision alone. A network of stakeholders is needed. Driven by euRobotics and BDVA, we have set up activities to formulate a vision and a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.
To inform you about this, to establish with you a collaborative, trustful and open relationship to achieve a competitive AI in Europe we want to invite you to this event to share our vision and join forces. This is about bringing stakeholders together around data, robotics, IoT, 5G, cybersecurity, the economy and society to build successful, deployable AI in Europe.
Let us inform each other, let’s discuss between ourselves and let’s start the next joint steps towards delivering AI in Europe.
